For our Office in Mumbai or Delhi we are looking for an experienced, hands-on Devops Engineer to join our mission to revolutionise the trading world.
Description: - You'll maintain and advance the cloud infrastructure that is the backbone for our global Trade Finance platform, based on Kubernetes, Docker and AWS.
- You'll be building custom tools, APIs, service portals to service and automate business relevant processes like on/off-boarding people, identity/ access management and more.
- You'll improve operational visibility of our production systems by advancing monitoring, alerting and centralized logging infrastructure with Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty, EFK and Graylog.
- You'll handle production incidents and write RCAs.
- You'll maintain and advance the CI/CD pipelines using best practices, and work closely with our Dev Teams to support and improve the whole software development life-cycle.
- You'll maintain IaaC and CM code base e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Packer, HELM
- You'll participate in Engineering decisions to further improve our infrastructure and processes.
- You'll help with office network configuration, routers/switches/access points
- You'll also be partly responsible for onsite tech support for our offices in India in a supporting function to our existing IT support engineer.
Requirements - You have a background in software engineering with extensive application development experience with at least one language like Python, Java, PHP, Go or Nodejs.
- You are an expert with SQL and NoSQL databases i.e. queries, schemas etc
- You have demonstrable experience in DevOps and Cloud Engineering, preferably with microservices SaaS products.
- You are well versed in Linux operating systems (i.e. administration, troubleshooting and automation) with strong understanding of foundational internet technologies such as DNS, TCP/IP, VPN.
- You have practical knowledge with topics surrounding high-availability, failover, scaling and security.
- You have experience in application containerization, orchestration, monitoring, logging, automation and troubleshooting with Kubernetes platform and related best practices.
- You love to build great things together with your team and you have excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience in an international startup environment is advantageous.
- You are a highly reliable person and you like to take ownership for your work and a fast learner.
Nice to Have
- Professional training or certification in cloud/sysad/devops/infosec is nice-to-have.
- Knowledge in the management of Apache Kafka clusters is nice-to-have.
