Overview:
The OPD Doctor (MBBS) plays a critical role in providing primary healthcare services to patients in an outpatient setting. They are responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions as well as providing preventive care and health education to patients. The OPD Doctor (MBBS) serves as the first point of contact for patients seeking medical assistance and is instrumental in ensuring the overall wellbeing of the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough medical assessments and examinations of patients
- Diagnosing and treating various acute and chronic illnesses
- Developing comprehensive treatment plans and monitoring patient progress
- Prescribing medications and coordinating with healthcare providers for specialized care
- Providing preventive care including immunizations and health screenings
- Offering health education and counseling to patients and their families
- Documenting patient medical history and treatment plans accurately
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for patient care management
- Ensuring compliance with medical ethics and legal regulations
- Participating in continuous medical education and training programs
Required Qualifications:
- MBBS degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice as a physician
- Proven experience working as an OPD doctor
- Excellent clinical judgment and decisionmaking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Empathy and compassion towards patients
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
- Sound knowledge of evidencebased medical practices
- Proficiency in medical recordkeeping and documentation
