Engage with PayPal customers, partners and colleagues to understand regulatory business needs and priorities from both a segment and market perspective to build solutions that are strong regulatory market focussed and is scalable/reusable.

In this role, you will get an opportunity to define, orchestrate, envision and enable critical and sensitive data initiatives in support of multiple organisation roadmaps and business units across regions at PayPal on behalf of Regulatory Platform. You will work with business stakeholders and product development partners to understand and define business use cases and opportunities in various streams. The role will require you to understand what the key business drivers are, identify opportunities with potential to leverage internal, external, and innovative data/analytics, iterate quickly through proof-of-concepts to define the solutions, and work with delivery teams to deliver platform-based solutions that delight users. This role offers regular visibility to senior management and the opportunity to substantially influence PayPal's business.

The role of dispute PO is within the broader Risk platform Domain. You will handle a disputes platform and/or DisputeAPI and/or Dispute UI which is capable of handling 35M disputes annually for PayPal Inc(PayPal, Venmo, Zettle, BT, Xoom). You will be responsible to design a dispute solution for a new product that PayPal Inc rolls out( eg: dispute handling for PYUSD) or make changes to existing dispute solution.

A Product Owner in the Disputes domain will support 1-2 engineering teams and will work on the dispute platform, DisputesAPI and Disputes front-end UI to support enterprise initiatives or Loss savings initiatives or Automation of disputes or revenue. You will directly contribute to either one of the above-mentioned goals

Your day to day

In your day to day role you will

Working with engineering teams across different domains, actively participate in prioritization, track and report multiple initiatives at the same time, stakeholder management across different teams, create user stories to enable 1-2 engineering teams to code/develop and deliver.

What do you need to bring-

Strong skills in Feature prioritization, backlog grooming, Problem solving, Asking the right questions, working with multiple stakeholders to roll out features, should be able to understand technology - in general, to the extent to be able to participate in a conversation with enterprise architects, Basic data querying skills and bring right attitude to get things done.
