Job description
Job Title: Automotive Interiors– Design Engineer (IP, Console & Door closure) · Tool - Catia
Key Responsibilities § As a Team Member to design Cockpit module components like Instrument Panel & Console from concept phase till design release § Plastic component design considering Regulatory and product requirements, knowledge of plastic manufacturing process (injection molding) and tooling knowledge. § Should be able to design and understand the master sections, Fixation Strategy, DFM, DFA, Tol. stack up, GD&T and concept detailing independently. § Candidate should have executed at least a one or more of related engineering projects throughout the product life cycle. § Creation and modification of CAD models and drawings in required CAD software (Catia) to follow defined Costumer design guidelines/ standards. Maintain quality and delivery targets in day-to-day customer deliveries. § Customer data management - Perform quality check as per established guidelines - Whenever required take responsibility for product delivery and manage communication with onsite team. Skills § At least 2+ years of experience in Interior components design § CATIA CAD tool experience § Good planning and analytical skills § Good communication skillsJob tags
