Job Description:
Will be responsible for software engineering of NSAS supporting Fault and Performance management. This position is a hands on technical leader for new Network Surveillance Management technology that supports AT&T's leading edge networks and services, such as network virtualization and 5G, which require extensive surveillance and cross-domain correlation across multiple services. Evaluate and introduce strategic technology to enable Service Assurance architectural goals and transformation goals for NSAS, GFP and PMOSS. This position requires technical leadership, innovation, and deep subject matter expertise in NW Service Assurance . Requires a Bachelors or a Masters degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is prefered. . At least 8 years of Software Development experience using software development technologies such as Java, Microservice, Javascript, SQL, RESTful APIs, Agile Development, DevOps. . Expertise in Linux/Unix, shell scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka and spring Framework. . Expertise with developing and deploying applications and Micro services to Public Cloud, preferably Azure. Knowledge of Helm chart and ArgoCD. . Knowledgeable of key networking technologies such as 5G Core, RAN, Transport IP Routing Ethernet ROADM Metro and Access Wireline Networks. . Data collection approaches through adoption of industry standard methods and open source capabilities and dashboards through Grafana . Experience with the TICK stack: Telegraf, InfluxDB, Chronograf and Kapacitor . Experience with the ELK stack: ElasticDB, Logstash, Kibana . Highly motivated . Ready to take Ownership and develop end-end solution . Azure/AWS/Google Cloud certified Cloud developer/Cloud architecture . Understanding of key protocols including SNMP, DNS, SSH. . Microservices development, REST API, Kubernetes, Databases (CASSANDRA, Postgres, MySQL etc.) . Experience in large scale systems integration . Broad knowledge of IT systems and technologies with emphasis on Network Management of carrier grade networks. . Quick Learner and hands-on experience on above technologies . Any development experience in a telecommunications industry setting is a plus. . Work timings 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM as per India time.
