Terms of Reference (TOR) - Business Development Officer

Position: Business Development Officer

Location: Amman, Jordan

Salary Range: 700 - 800 Jordanian Dinars (JOD) monthly net of taxes.

Experience: Minimum one year in the Business Development field

Introduction:

Edmaaj seeks a dynamic and motivated Business Development Officer to join our team. The Business Development Officer will be vital in identifying and developing new business opportunities, building partnerships, and supporting project-related activities. This position is based on a competitive salary range of 700 - 800 JOD per month and requires a minimum of one year of experience in the Business Development field.

Key Responsibilities:

· Opportunity Discovery: Identify bidding and project opportunities aligned with the company's service offerings.

· Proposal Preparation: Write technical and financial proposals, including conducting research to support proposal content.

· Marketing and Visibility: Assist in developing the company's public profiles and increase the company networks of clients, stakeholders and partners on the local and international levels.

· Project Implementation Support: Develop theoretical frameworks and contribute to methodology and work plan development during the proposal writing phase and the project's inception phase after the project sign-off by the client. Additionally, engage with stakeholders and clients, representing Edmaaj in communication.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Possession of a bachelor's degree in a related field.
• A minimum of one year of experience in full-time, part-time, or internship in Business Development/project management/research in the development field.
• Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication.
• Exceptional attention to detail combined with solid organizational skills.
• Competence in using Microsoft Office, Excel and relevant software.
• Adeptness at collaborative teamwork and working under pressure.
• Knowledge of the NGO, CSO, or international development sectors.
• A Master's degree is an asset.
