Role Summary

Are you ready to join the Yulu R(EV)olution Yulu is on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic Community Engagement Intern to join our business team and help us curate a community for our customers. You will be a Community Engagement Intern for our People Mobility business and the heartbeat of the Yulu community, connecting with our riders and building a vibrant community around our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

Here's a sneak peek into what you'll be doing:

• Curating the Yulu Community: You will help ideate & curate all elements that will go into building a vibrant Yulu community.
• Event Extraordinaire: Plan and execute exciting events that bring Yulu riders together. Whether it's a group ride through the city or a pop-up event with free swag, you'll be the architect of unforgettable experiences.
• Customer Connection Guru: Research, interview and gather crucial insights for business teams as well as for building the community. Sell / communicate / pilot newer offerings to users.
• Content Creator Wizard: Channel your inner creativity to generate blog posts, newsletters, and other content that tells the Yulu story. Share user testimonials, highlight community achievements, and showcase the impact of shared mobility. Dive into the world of Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook to create engaging content that resonates with our community. From witty captions to captivating visuals, you'll work with our social media teams to build our social media presence.
• Ambassador Program Maven: Manage a community ambassador program, turning passionate Yulu riders into brand advocates. Empower them to spread the Yulu love far and wide.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in Marketing or Business, but not a mandate)
• Passion for sustainable urban mobility and community building
• Excellent communication & presentation skills; confident in engaging with customers.
• Social media savvy with a knack for creating shareable content.
• Event planning experience (even if it's just planning a killer birthday party!).
• Familiarity with customer service best practices
• Well adapted with Bengaluru's cultural fabric and in touch with the latest in pop culture & trends
• Self-starter attitude with the ability to funnel creativity into solid execution and to build from scratch.
• Quick & enthusiastic learner.

Internship Duration : 6 months (comes with the opportunity to join Yulu full-time)
