Data Analyst - Data and Operations Team
Job Description The Data Analyst role will help pull raw data from different platforms (Website, eComm, Social Media, etc.), work on the format and data cleansing, fixing or removing corrupted, incorrectly formatted, duplicate, or incomplete data within our different datasets. This role will be a critical piece in expanding the data service team since we want to build a most robust set of dashboards that will need a lot of manual data entry.
Responsibilities - Validate, test and update reports and dashboards across different teams.
- The Data Analyst needs to understand client's requests and end goals, advice on best data sources, fields, and user experience designs.
- Provide rigorous assessment of the accuracy, validity and reliability of gathered information
- Actively developing new methods, processes, best practices to be rolled out across the teams involved.
- Creating templates and standard work using analytical tools to automate as much data insights as possible. Ensure data quality through constant testing and review of filters.
- Collect performance data from internal and external data sources (Adobe Analytics, SproutSocial, IBS)
- Manage timeline for all digital reporting
Qualifications - 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to clean and dive into messy data to find insights
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office product suite (mostly MS Excel)
- Intermediate experience with data visualization software (Power BI)
- Experience with web analytics software (Adobe Analytics, SproutSocial, IBS, etc.)
- Intermediate experience with relational databases (i.e. SQL, mySQL) is a plus
