Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis:Conduct thorough market research to identify business opportunities, industry trends, and potential clients in the Mumbai region
- Analyze competitors and market dynamics to inform business development strategies
- Lead Generation:Proactively identify and pursue new business leads through various channels, including networking events, industry associations, and targeted outreach
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute lead generation campaigns
- Client Relationship Management:Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target client organizations
- Understand client needs and pain points to tailor solutions effectively
- Sales Strategy:Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for Mumbai, aligned with overall business goals
- Set clear objectives, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Mumbai business development team
- Sales Presentations:Deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the value proposition of the company's products/services
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the offerings
- Negotiation and Closing:Lead negotiation processes, addressing client concerns, and ensuring favorable terms for both parties
- Close sales deals to meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Collaboration:Collaborate with internal teams, including pre-sales, delivery, and support, to ensure smooth client onboarding and satisfaction
- Coordinate with other business development managers for knowledge sharing and collaborative efforts
- Reporting and Analysis:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities
