Job description
Knowledge about manufacturing processes and supply chain function activities.
Responsible to understand project requirements, draft & float RFQs with necessary details to capable / relevant business partners.
Identify new suppliers as per project requirements to... debottleneck project constraints, develop new processes / products & item indigenization. Evaluate identified / selected suppliers for QMS being followed & overall financial stability.
Techno-commercial negotiation with suppliers & recommending most competitive supplier to issue PO. Processing PPOs / SCRs in system.
Responsible for PO execution planning at supplier place to meet project schedule, monitoring of execution progress with respect to plan & timely updating status to stakeholders. Supplier follow-up for Bought-Out items to meet project schedule.
Co-ordinate with QC / DEC / PMG to resolve supplier issues.
Co-ordinate for material collection, IMR clearance & supplier payment processing. Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with suppliers.
Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements
Willing to travel to supplier place for execution activities.
Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
