Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming materials, verifying their quantity and quality.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring proper storage and accessibility.
- Issue materials based on requisitions and maintain accurate records of stock transactions.
- Collaborate with procurement to reorder supplies as needed, tracking reorder points.
- Conduct regular physical inventory checks to reconcile discrepancies and maintain accuracy.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of sensitive or perishable items.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill internal requests for materials.
- Implement and maintain a systematic inventory control system.
- Safeguard warehouse operations by enforcing safety and security policies.
- Generate regular reports on inventory status and consumption patterns.
Preferred Skills - Proven experience as a Storekeeper or similar role.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with relevant software for tracking and managing inventory.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items and operate material-handling equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic mathematical and computer skills.
- Knowledge of safety and security protocols in a warehouse setting.
Qualification :- Diploma / ITI / Logistics or Any Degree in related field.
