Job description

• Accountable for the delivery of key Global Mobility services, and for Managed Moves, for specific countries or regions executed by the team based in the GCC Global Mobility team. This role will manage a set of countries or processes.
• Coordination of workloads to ensure that a team of Global Mobility experts are providing a best in Service level of support to GSK talent geographical moves.

• Services are delivered through an end-to-end process which requires significant partnership with a range of stakeholders within GSK - which includes but not limited to, Reward COE, in-country HR, Reward teams, Global payrolls across the home and host location, IT, Risk, Corporate Security, Recruitment, and line mangers in the business.
• The service will be delivered through GSK preferred Mobility Vendors and the Global GSK team. The role will require connecting and managing the relationship with the vendors.
• The role will have a strong focus on operational excellence of the Mobility service, ensure customer experience, achieves the desired KPI s and where possible exceeds them, by applying a strong service management methodology.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as single point of contact, and accountable for specific Managed Moves for all GSK employees for all categories of mobility service.
• Process Expert, with ability to communicate and support the understanding of these processes - hand holding through self-service move initiation activities
• Manage expectations for Hiring managers, and the moving employees on the move activities.
• Work with 3rd parties to bring useful market intelligence to help mover understand the new location better.
• Navigate the HR processes to ensure blockers are managed proactively.
• Manage escalations associated to user experiences for dedicated moves
• Coordinate with 3rd party vendors to ensure effective delivery of move activities, and proactively support any issues that may arise
• Advises HR and line management on available mobility options including individual package design based on core talent, reward, and process and governance guidance. Tailored Mobility advice also ensures tax, payroll, social security and immigration compliance is maintained to minimize risk to GSK.
• Implementation of policy linked to ad hoc changes in tax or immigration legislation in a particular jurisdiction in partnership with Global Tax and Tax / Immigration provider.
• Execute and manage ongoing education of HR, line management and current / potential mobile employees on Mobility policies and processes, potential compliance concerns within the aligned region.
• Acting as Voice of Customer by actively contributing to process and policy improvements through the participation at regular team meetings and ad hoc Mobility projects.
• Proactively and accurately manages all escalation including the governance of exceptions requested

Previous Experience Required

• Minimum 8-12 years experience in Immigration /Mobility/ Process background combined with customer focus and an understanding of how to manage a diverse range of issues and complex mobility issues and present to those not always knowledgeable of the subject.
• Demonstrated attention to detail.
• Good experience in a mobility role (ideally gained in a large corporation or a specialist consulting organization)
• Project Management expertise (ideally in a formally trained manner) established experience in managing matrixed / international resources. Evidence of delivery to deadlines/ effective management of multiple activities with conflicting timelines
• Business perspective of GSK or relevant to GSK (i.e. Science/Technology, FMGC) or experience in a Company with multiple business units with at times conflicting requirements
