Why this Role is Unique This role will collaborate with various departments to provide financial guidance and support strategic decision making. While based in our Bangalore office, this role is planned to primarily support US Accounting and Finance operations. Once onboarded and familiar with the company’s US and Consolidated financials, the expectation is to hire a small team to meet increased demands.
What You’ll Be Doing Monthly financial statement close for our US entity - bank/schedule reconciliations Consolidate multi entity and multi currency financials Enforce internal controls in monitoring spending Support Finance in Budget vs. Actual analysis Support the audit and tax functions Regular cost reporting and ad hoc analysis Implement costs savings/efficiency ideas Support Controller in payroll Coordinate with team in India to prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with US GAAP Oversee US general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll entries Assist CFO in preparing annual operating budget and monthly budget-to-actual reporting Continually source ideas to drive efficiency, improved controls, and speed of decision making by evaluating and implementing accounting, ERP and other systems, as needed Recruit and train finance & accounting team members over time Room for additional responsibilities as we establish good processes What We’re Looking For Working knowledge of US GAAP and experience working with US entity (US travel visa and periodic travel to US required) Experience with Quickbooks Online and Netsuite, migration between ERP systems, implementing billing systems 4 year degree in Accounting/Finance 10-12years of experience in accounting management or a similar role Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stay organized and hit deadlines Certifications a plus but not required.
