Job description
Main Responsibilities:
A : Workflow Activity Tracking and Reporting
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into PowerApps functionalities that align with business insights and reporting needs
- Design and develop PowerApps solutions to capture workflow activity data (user-friendly interfaces and efficient data entry)
- Create and maintain data models within Power BI to support the visualization and reporting of captured workflow activity data
- Implement data connectors and integration pipelines to seamlessly transfer data from PowerApps to Power BI for real-time reporting
- Use Pro & Premium features as applicable in maximising the tool's capability
B: Business Insights Data Gathering, Collection and Reporting
- Data Gathering – Participate with internal and external stakeholders in identifying data sources including extracting data from diverse databases, systems, and external sources and gradually automating this path
- Data Collection - Develop and maintain data collection processes to ensure a continuous flow of information by implementing ETL processes
- Data Mastering - Scrub and cleanse data to remove duplicates, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies.
- Data Transformation & Integration - Integrate data from multiple sources to create a unified dataset for reporting and visualization and analytics.
- Data Reporting & Visualization- Develop automated reporting processes for regular and ad-hoc reporting requirements by translating data findings into visually appealing and informative charts, graphs, and visualizations (Tableau, Power BI, or custom solutions)
- Data Analysis - Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights including the ability to perform statistical analysis and hypothesis testing when necessary.
- Data Documentation - Maintain thorough documentation of data sources, transformation processes, and reporting methodologies.
- New Ideas – Actively participating in providing, documenting new ideas, opportunities and outcomes including self-initiated POCs
B: SLA Management
- Setting up and managing a centre of excellence/data factory to deliver ability to report in real time and historical on all KPIs/ SLA's
- Build monitoring and exception-management dashboards to detect under performance and KPI/SLA failures
- Use Statistical modeling in predicting KPI/SLAs based on Time of the Day/Week/Month
- Build real-time Alert flows including Emails/SMS gateways for Management attention
- Identify failure points in a process-journey based on data/raw data for KPI/SLA failures to enable RCAs
- Maintain reporting frequency compliance and COPC's CUIKA
B: Financial & Non-Financial Reporting
- Ability to consume financial or non-financial datasets to build patterns, trends and spot anomalies
- Ability to develop project profitability reporting and work with budgeting inputs
- Ability to use and recommend business models aimed at driving productivity improvements, costs optimization and SLAs improvement that have an impact on Financials
