Job description

The candidate should be a seasoned SAP professional with a proven track record in navigating both ECC and S/4HANA landscapes. Their expertise should extend to platform capabilities, architecture, project leadership, security, and compliance, ensuring the effective and optimal utilization of SAP systems to drive business success.

Review project plan for ECC to S4/HANA migration and coordinate with stakeholders.

Conduct guidance session with team on migration process, addressing potential challenges.

Allocate resources based on project timelines and criticality.

Provide technical support to team members troubleshooting SAP systems, databases, and infrastructure.

Review documentation for accuracy and completeness.

Conduct training sessions on new tools and methodologies relevant to SAP BASIS and S4/HANA migration.

Monitor progress of tasks and projects, address roadblocks promptly.

Perform quality assurance checks on system configurations and upgrades.

Communicate with SAP vendors for support and coordination.

Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions among team members.

Conduct project review meetings with stakeholders to provide updates and address feedback.

Gather feedback from team members for continuous improvement.

Experience working across US and multiple time zones.

Troubleshooting & Support.

14+ years of experience with a bachelor s degree or 8+ years of experience with an advanced degree.

Extensive experience in SAP BASIS administration, including system installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Proficiency in SAP HANA database administration and performance optimization.

In-depth knowledge of SAP ECC and S4/HANA architectures, functionalities, and integration points.

Strong understanding of SAP landscape transformation methodologies and tools.

Experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results.

Proven track record of successful SAP migration projects, delivering on time and within budget while meeting quality standards and business requirements.

Experience with SAP system installations, upgrades, and migrations.

Proficiency in SAP landscape design, configuration, and system architecture.

Expertise in SAP performance tuning and optimization.

Knowledge of SAP transport management system (TMS) and change management processes.

Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery concepts in SAP environments.

Experience with SAP Basis support packs, enhancement packs, and patch management.

Knowledge of database administration principles, preferably with experience in SAP HANA.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Hands-on experience with SAP system monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Ability to lead and mentor a team of SAP BASIS administrators.

Experience in managing SAP system landscapes across different environments (development, testing, production).

Experience working across US and multiple time zones.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Minimum Requirements

Previous Medical device experience and/or FDA regulated industry.

Certification in SAP BASIS administration and relevant technologies is a plus.

Familiarity with SAP security concepts and best practices.
