Job Description:

Elastik Teams is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bookkeeper. This is an entry-level position suitable for a fresher who will be working remotely from India to support our US operations. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and contributing to the overall financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Entry and Record Keeping:
    • Accurately enter financial transactions into the accounting system.
    • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of financial activities.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable:
    • Process invoices, payments, and receipts.
    • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable statements.
  • Bank Reconciliation:
    • Reconcile bank statements with the company's accounting records.
    • Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, summaries, and other financial analyses.
    • Generate basic financial reports for review by senior staff.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
    • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
    • Maintain proper documentation for financial transactions and audits.
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Collaborate with team members and other departments to gather relevant financial information.
    • Communicate effectively with the US-based team to address queries and resolve financial issues.
