Job Description

Responsible for developing user-centric and actionable medium to long term business strategies for India Region. The role requires a leader with diverse (personal) experiences (preferably across industry & GTM) with strategic and analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively among all level around the globe. It will carry the responsibility of INPT FP 2030 project. Includes multiple countries: India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives.

BUD

•Long-term planning – Steering the development & then deployment of the long-term Strategic Business Plan for all BUs in India region in alignment with Global PT & BU level strategies.

•Market sizing & intelligence – Ensure systematic analysis of market trends and competitor activities as well as definition of market values, volumes and market shares of power tools across Bus.

•Strategic topics – Support Regional organization in strategic topics. To drive business potential assessment and market research on future business scenarios and strategies to expand trade coverage through new/emerging business models

•Work with sales & marketing team to evaluate and realize targets for adjacent business (OPE, Industrial tools, hand tools, etc.) for PT-IN region

•Business Field Analysis: periodic review of market players in key segment (new and existing business fields) across BUs/GBs to identify opportunities for M&A in line with PT/Bosch framework.

INPT-FP

•Build, renew & execute “PT-India Future Proofing charter” for India Region. Drive long term profitability & resourcing requirement. Manage potential risks via periodic reviews and to facilitate unblocking wherever needed – to ensure achievement of accelerated growth FP targets.

•Responsibility for projects crucial for the IN Region from organizational & business development perspective. To design, launch and own targets for digital projects (eg ARR-Tool Rental, etc.).

•Interface between Region & defined central & regional departments (e. g. marketing, engineering, controlling) in PT & RBIN, RBLK, RBBS as well as external intelligence agencies.

•Leading a high-performance team (PT/outsourced) to deliver on Region’s strategic charter.

Digitalization 

•Definition of the Regional digital strategy derived from the PT Digital Strategy

•Map all critical business processes & have a clear road map to Digitalize them

•Responsible for entire Region’s digital platforms- local or central

•Determination and approval of the budget for all BU IT/Digital activities to drive digital solutions (in alignment with BDO budget)

•Coordination of BU digital portfolio in alignment with B(C)DO (digital services projects and standardization roadmaps)

•Definition of the Business Unit’s digital strategy elements derived from the PT Digital Strategy and coordination with the respective executive management

Qualifications

BE/B.Tech , Preferred MBA with 15+ years of experience
