Job Title: Snowflake Developer
Location: Pune
Salary: 10-12 LPA MAX

Job Description:

We are urgently seeking a skilled Snowflake Developer to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate must have a very clear understanding of Snowflake Architecture and at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including snowsql, copy command, stored procedures, and other advanced features like snowpipe and semi-structured data load. Knowledge of loading AVRO and PARQUET files to Snowflake is essential. Additionally, candidates should possess proficiency in SQL, Unix, and advanced Unix Shell Scripting. Experience with file transfer mechanisms such as NDM, sFTP, Datarouter, and knowledge of schedulers like TWS are also required.

This is an urgent requirement, and only immediate joiners will be considered. Please note that relocation candidates will not be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement Snowflake solutions based on project requirements.
Develop and optimize queries for data transformation and loading processes.
Implement stored procedures and other advanced features in Snowflake.
Load and process AVRO and PARQUET files in Snowflake environment.
Utilize SQL, Unix, and advanced Unix Shell Scripting for data manipulation and automation tasks.
Manage file transfer mechanisms for data exchange between systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
Ensure data integrity, security, and performance within the Snowflake environment.
Monitor and troubleshoot Snowflake processes for performance optimization.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
Proficiency in snowsql, copy command, stored procedures, snowpipe, and semi-structured data load.
Experience with loading AVRO and PARQUET files into Snowflake.
Strong knowledge of SQL, Unix, and advanced Unix Shell Scripting.
Familiarity with file transfer mechanisms such as NDM, sFTP, Datarouter.
Experience with schedulers like TWS is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
