Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Textile Designer, located in Gurugram. The Textile Designer will be responsible for creating textile designs from concept to finished product. They will collaborate with other designers, product managers, and merchandising teams to ensure designs and color palettes are on-trend and meet business objectives. The Textile Designer will also be responsible for managing and maintaining design archives and specifications. Product Developer (Rug Designer): Customizing exclusive handmade rugs for diverse projects, collaborating with global designers, architects, and interior experts. Designer: Crafting innovative designs by melding research, trends, and software skills. Proficient in Adobe Suite, CorelDraw, Ned Graphics, Galaincha, and MS Office, that exceed expectations. Design Consultant: Blending aesthetics and functionality, provide tailored insights to transform spaces into appealing environments. Graphic Artist: Utilizing Photoshop, Illustrator, and Photography, create compelling visuals for effective communication, particularly on social media. Product Stylist/Visual Merchandiser: Skillfully arranging merchandise for captivating photography, showcasing product style and functionality. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Textile Design or a related field 3+ years of experience in textile design, preferably in a fashion or home goods context Demonstrated expertise in software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator Excellent understanding of color theory and textile printing and production processes Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders Strong creativity and ability to generate new design conceptsJob tags
