Job description

NoPo Nanotechnologies one of the few deep tech companies globally that leads the research and development in the nanotubes space. The company manufactures and sells high-quality single walled carbon nanotubes using proprietary methods known as HiPCO®. NoPo is currently scaling up production to meet the customer demands.

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled resource to lead the effort in launching NoPo HiPCO® dispersion for EV Batteries and seeing it through customer technical qualification . The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering results especially in chemical synthesis or chemical dispersion areas and leading teams of junior and senior engineers.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and optimize dispersion strategies of NoPo HiPCO® SWCNT electrode slurry for batteries
  
• Collaborate with the in-house and customer R&D teams to develop innovative dispersion solutions suitable for customer applications
  
• Lead effort for technical qualification of the material with customer
  
• Develop in-house testing capability to evaluate performance of material against global peers
  
• Contribute to the design of new materials and technology for production of batteries.
  
• Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety and compliance, contingency planning
  
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and production teams to ensure production processes are optimized.
  
• Keep abreast with the latest technological advancements and industry trends in battery technologies.
  
• Recruit, train, and evaluate team members, ensuring the right balance of skills and expertise.
  

Requirements

• A master’s degree or PhD in Materials Science/Chemical Engineering/Electrochemical Engineering/Electrochemistry/ Experimental physical chemistry or a related field
  
• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the chemical synthesis, chemical dispersion, or cell manufacturing
  
• Demonstrated ability to lead R&D projects and teams with a strong focus on results and accountability
  
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas in simple language
  
• A customer-centric mindset, with a proven track record of developing tailored solutions and maintaining high levels of satisfaction
  
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
