Role: HR Business Partner (Sr Manager level), 7-10 yrs experience

About the role:
HR function is a strategic enabling unit & we see it as an influencing function in building the right kind of Talent & culture. The HR Business partner will play a role in championing the execution of various projects from the HR charter. These projects cut across the entire life cycle of the employee & include various subsets of HR related to Talent Acquisition, HR operations, HR Operations, HR Tech, Performance Mgt, Employee engagement & people development. The role will involve building and maintaining strong relationships with team leaders & building sustainable people capabilities in their teams.
We are growing rapidly in the existing businesses as well as planning to expand through new business verticals. Having hiring related skill sets would be extremely important to this role. 50% of the job role would entail taking Lead role as a Talent Acquisition Specialist & setting up best practices & processes related to TA along with guiding the junior resources in HR team for the same. This would mean not just actual hiring/sourcing of candidates but also related focus areas under its umbrella such as Employer Branding, Talent Community building , Campus engagement & hiring plan, Building an engaging candidate experience throughout the hiring process & later from pre boarding to on boarding, empaneling external hiring partners & Operationalizing HR Tech/ATS for hiring module.
Work week: 5 days a week, Mon- Fri
Location: Work from office at Matunga-Mumbai (10 mins walking from Matunga stn)
Responsibilities:
· Act as a strategic HR partner to team leaders, providing expert advice and guidance on people and organizational matters impacting people.
· Develop and implement HR plan in line with business objectives, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, policies and HR Tech.
· Collaborate with the business leaders to understand their annual business plan & accordingly identify the people resource gaps.
· Manage entire process of hiring for the functions partnered for -Source, screen, interview & offer candidates to assess functional and cultural fitment in the organization
· Pro actively developing talent pipeline for critical roles through headhunting, competitor / industry mapping.
· Build TA reporting excellence through Regularly update trackers and dashboard to measure the hiring effectiveness, timelines , hiring channel effectiveness.
· To manage end to end vendor (recruitment consultants, jobs boards and other recruitment service providers) empanelment process i.e. right from identifying the service providers as per our requirements, collaborating with them to understand their expertise and services offered, rate and negotiation and finalization of terms of services.
· Build the campus hiring plan to attract fresh talent from educational institutions and build a pipeline for entry level roles.
· Develop specialized or competitive intelligence and research pool with regards to talent acquisition, market salary trends, Campus hiring trends, etc
· Build and maintain positive relationships with all employees & build credibility for the HR function.
· Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience and employer brand
· Benchmark people policies with new age companies & with similar industries to suggest a framework for people practices.
· Own & execute OKR & performance mgt process. Ensure a smooth implementation of the appraisal process by orienting employees and coaching managers on performance management process and ensure timely completion of reviews.
· Providing guidance and inputs to business leaders on team restructure, workforce planning and succession planning
· Custodian for setting up compensation & benefits structure & policy.
· Create an employee engagement & recognition plan.
· Identify learning & development needs to complement the business agenda, Co-create the dept wise learning plan along with functional heads, identify external training partners wherever required.
· Run interventions/ Create programs to drive cultural integration that aligns with the company's values.
