Job description

Evolve Back Resorts is a chain of luxury resorts known for offering immersive and highend experiences in India. Formerly known as Orange County Resorts they rebranded to Evolve Back Resorts to reflect their commitment to evolving the concept of luxury hospitality.

Job Summary:

The Commis 3 is an entrylevel position in the kitchen responsible for assisting in food preparation basic cooking tasks and supporting the culinary team. This role requires a willingness to learn attention to detail and a passion for the culinary arts.

Responsibilities:

  1. Food Preparation Assistance: Support in preparing ingredients such as cleaning peeling chopping and portioning following established recipes and guidelines.
  2. Basic Cooking Tasks: Assist in simple cooking tasks including grilling saut ing frying and baking under the guidance of senior chefs.
  3. Maintaining Standards: Ensure adherence to quality taste and presentation standards for all prepared food items.
  4. Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations equipment and storage areas following hygiene and sanitation procedures.
  5. Assist in Inventory Management: Help monitor stock levels report shortages and participate in inventory counts as directed.
  6. Learning and Development: Be receptive to learning new culinary skills techniques and recipes from senior chefs.
  7. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff communicate effectively and assist colleagues as needed for smooth operations.
  8. Compliance with Safety Regulations: Adhere strictly to food safety standards regulations and kitchen protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  9. Support Various Kitchen Tasks: Assist in miscellaneous kitchen duties as assigned by supervisors to facilitate efficient operations.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  2. Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations is a plus.
  3. Willingness to learn follow instructions and work under guidance.
  4. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  5. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  6. Passion for food a positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning in a kitchen setting.
  7. Flexibility in working hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
