Role: Intern-Information Security Compliance
Location: Bangalore

Duration: Minimum 6 months

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
• Assist in doing risk assessment and privacy impact assessment
• Assist in security incident response, client RFPs and third party risk assessment
• Participate in security awareness training and education programs.
• Help maintain security systems and applications.
• Collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with standard, contractual and legal security and privacy requirements.
• Assist in internal and external audits
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Assist in review of cloud security posture
• Assist in review of IT and network security posture

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled or holding a degree in a bachelor's or master's degree program in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity and privacy principles and practices.
• Basic understanding of ISO 27001 and SOC2
• Basic understanding of GDPR
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to research, comprehend, and apply new cybersecurity technologies.
• Relevant certifications, such as CISA, CompTIA Security+ or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Associate, CEH, OSCP are a plus.
• A Desire to learn and to share knowledge.
