Job Description Role & Responsibilities: Must Have: Extensive knowledge of SQL and SQL server tools
Manage SQL Server databases.
Configure and maintain database servers and processes.
Monitor system's health and performance.
Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security.
In-depth understanding of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring requirements.
Familiarity with relational and dimensional data modelling.
Extensive knowledge in database design, implementation, and conversion.
Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time.
Provide suggestions for solutions.
Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes.
Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement.
Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours.
Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
Required Technical Competencies Infrastructure Management: - Ability to support on-premise and different cloud providers.
- Execute infrastructure automation scripts as per defined SOP and centralized process.
- Create iteration, infra-as-code implementation plan, and generic plans as required.
- Identify and resolve issues in the infrastructure, conduct impact analysis for identified risks and gaps, and carry out root cause analysis for recurring infrastructure issues.
Change & Release Management - Monitor and improve the effectiveness of change management process.
- Enforce change management activities, conduct change impact assessment, and facilitate CAB and ECAB meetings.
- Manage any CRs that need to be excluded from SLA reporting.
- Efficiently communicate changes, change status, and management activities to stakeholders.
Configuration Management - Manage the CI life cycle for a couple of CI types, ensure modifications to CMDB are recorded, and monitor the configuration management process.
- Identify configurable items, access privilege, support the audit process, and implement corrective action.
- Define scope for release, plan release schedule and requirements, and devise back-out plan.
Incident/ Request Management - Create and manage Incidents and Requests, enforce management activities, facilitate daily operation meetings, drive management process, and communicate status and activities to appropriate stakeholders.
- Drive weekly Incident/Request Management aging meeting, perform account-specific assessments, define Request Type standards, and create Account-specific new Request types and task templates.
Knowledge Management - Plan and implement knowledge management framework, evaluate different tools and techniques, and recommend the most appropriate.
- Write white papers/blogs at internal and external levels.
Problem Management - Facilitate the Problem Management Process, identify unsuccessful changes, and define separate problem record for required parties.
- Conduct periodic reviews on progress and completion of problem records.
Service Level Management - Assist in SLA compliance and monitoring, support customer environment, and provide standardized procedures to restore services.
- Minimize adverse impact of disruption of services on business operations.
Technology/ Platform Knowledge - Implement code or configure/customize products, contribute to development of reusable assets and innovative solutions, and demonstrate thought leadership.
Customer & Stakeholder Management - Analyze stakeholder profiles, identify opportunities for improving efficiencies, and understand contract terms and their commercial significance.
- Ensure successful contract execution and handle contract change control, variations, payment, and final account processes.
Organizational Awareness - Understand the commercial context and organizational culture, use the organization's structures, rules, and networks, and subscribe to the organization's code of conduct and values.

Biztalk and Azure Certification, AZ104, Oracle Certified Expert (OCE) Desirable: Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Service on Citrix Cloud Certified (CC-VAD-CC), CISSP, SDN Certification, OCS, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
