Job description
Possess a minimum of 7+ years of experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical Design Engineering.
Demonstrated work experience in handling individual projects, particularly in Oil & Gas skid packages, with a focus on process-related tasks.
Engage in basic and detailed Design Engineering activities for assigned projects in Petrochemical Plants, Oil & Gas Plants, Offshore Drilling Rigs, etc.
Responsible for the preparation and review of PFDs, P&IDs, design calculations/analyses, and procurement specifications.
Exposure to specifications from esteemed entities such as Saudi Aramco, ADCO, PDO, and Shell is considered an added advantage.
Familiarity with international standards is imperative.
Collaborate with project and engineering teams to ensure the seamless execution of projects and provide necessary process inputs to meet overall project schedules.
Conduct thorough project scope assessments, evaluating risks and opportunities before project execution.
Prepare and issue RFQs, review vendor/sub-contractor submittals, ensure compliance with project specifications, and conduct Technical Bid analysis.
Develop and implement workflow plans, assessing manpower requirements for efficient project execution.
Generate schedules for a list of deliverables and optimize process design for process equipment, considering operating and capital costs.
Proficient in interpreting various symbols for equipment, piping, electrical, and instrumentation according to IEC and ISA standards.
Familiarity with SIL, HAZOP, Hazardous area classifications, and their requirements is preferred.
