Job Summary

If you are a Senior Engineer II, Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for an Assistant Manager to work with our Emerson Actuation Technologies Europe Team. This role will lead AP, India & Middle East Global Projects & Europe KOB 2 Proposals Team members. You will be working along with Global Project Pursuit Leaders of the respective Regions and Outside Sales Organization on meeting customer requirements and be part of larger Europe Actuation Technologies organization.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Develop Skill set for both Base & Biffi Products.
  • Work closely with Global Project Pursuit Leaders & Outside Sales to understand and prioritize the projects which are close to order.
  • Set PMP for the individuals in the team & Do Performance Review and give feedback and coach for improvement.
  • Project Quote LEAD - Proactively understand the project requirements, Define the project Quote strategy & define the actions involved in SMART quote preparation for GPP must win projects with the Quote Engineer.
  • Lead, Guide, Coach the team to meet the Organization Goals and Set KPI for the given year.
  • Collaborate with World area Functional leader to set Goals & Directions .
  • Monthly Cadence call with AP, India & Middle East Global Project Pursuit Leaders.
  • Monthly Cadence call with Europe Functional & Team leaders to understand and improve the support functions provided by the team.
  • Bi-weekly India MOR call with India Global Project Pursuit Leaders & Outside Sales.
  • Be the ISO Process champion for Actuation Global proposals team.
  • Be part of New Process & Tool change and lead the team to drive towards the change.
  • Assign the RFQ to the Team Members and help in development of the same by training / continuous coaching.
  • Ensures quote engineers are trained on product and give necessary training on product technicalities.
  • All technical details /Prices / Tools to be made available for team.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Degree in Engineering with 9 – 12 years of experience in Automation Industry with exclusive experience on Inside Sales / Pre-sales quote activities / customer experience is preferred.
  • Good in Analytical and problem-solving Skills.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and able to relate well with all levels of staff.
  • Time Management
  • Drive for Results
  • Motivating Others and Developing Direct Reports
  • Good in Communication
  • Technical Knowledge on Actuation Technologies Product

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PPT, Power Bi)
  • Should relate well with outside sales, peers.
  • Experience with RFQ / Quote Tools and Sizing and Selection Tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
