Job description
PURPOSE:
The role exists to lead the execution of client projects (development and/or technology transfer) in a CDMO set-up. This is done through providing business leadership and facilitating technical leadership of assigned projects. The Project Manager (PM) will collaborate with the appropriate functional teams to develop and finalize project plans with the client. The PM will drive projects to completion as per the planned scope, cost, and timelines. PM will ensure timely and accurate communication with stakeholders and partners throughout the lifecycle of the project. The PM will participate in issue resolution at the project level as well as the organizational level to de-risk projects and simplify processes.
He/She will lead the core team in meeting the milestones to achieve launch date commitments and constantly identify and solve issues and risks associated with project plans.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education :
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Biotech/Pharma/Chemistry related streams. PMP Certification is an added advantage.
Relevant Experience:
5-10 years of project management experience, with demonstrated success leading development and commercialization projects in Pharma, Medical Devices, or other highly regulated fields.
Business Understanding:
Demonstrated competencies in all aspects of project management.
Knowledge:
Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory or Clinical Practices, Basic regulatory knowledge, Product Development Process, and project management basics.
Behavioral Skills:
Excellent communication skills, Influencing skills, and Leadership Essentials.

Key Activities
1: Accountability:
Accountable for core team performance, project schedules, tracking and execution, budget commitments, and spending. To ensure the successful execution of projects and Successful delivery of the projects on time and within the agreed budget
2: Project Scope & Strategies
Define project strategies, develop goals, and project charters, and ensure project scope is defined and controlled. To ensure the scope of the project is set up front and team members are completely aware of the goals and the deliverables. Team member's awareness of the scope, project details, and deliverables.
3: Communication Skills
Continuously interacts with all functions and levels of management ensuring effective ongoing communications across teams and stakeholders. To ensure clarity leading to project success and avoid ambiguity that can derail progress. Everyone involved is aware of the project status and risks at any point of time of the project life cycle.
4: Risk Identification & Mitigation
Ensures identification and communication of project risks, and development of risk plan, and leads core team in the proactive management of risk response strategies. To proactively assess the risks and mitigate them. Projects are kept on track despite possible risks.
5: Conflict Management
Anticipates potential conflict situations for proactive mitigation and manages conflict situations to result in win-win outcomes. To ensure effective resolution of conflicts and ensure progress in the project's successful resolution of the challenges faced. Strategic intervention and management of conflicts. Successful delivery of the projects on time.
