Job description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and software specifications.

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

• Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.

• Identify, document, and track software defects, issues, and inconsistencies.

• Work closely with developers to investigate and resolve reported defects.

• Perform regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been resolved.

• Validate that software meets user requirements and design specifications.

• Collaborate in the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks.

• Participate in the review and improvement of development and testing processes.

• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging testing technologies.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Proven experience as a Software Tester or Quality Assurance Engineer.

• Familiarity with software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in test case design and execution.

• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium) is a plus.

• Knowledge of scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.

• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies is a plus.
