Job description
- Devise and write research reports, presentations, data sets, and other content (a) for publication on coresight.com, (b) on behalf of clients, and(c) for colleagues within Coresight.
- Research subjects include thematic research, analysis of retail sectors, company financial results, analysis of sourcing and supplychains, research on consumer-product markets, trends in retail and technology, and custom and ad-hoc queries.
- Contribute ideas for new research projects and publications to be undertaken personally, by the local team, or by the broader Coresight team.Develop a strong base of industry knowledge in drug stores and healthcare.
- Stay on top of industry news and emerging trends, in order to identify topical subjects to research.
Build on existing knowledge to become an industry specialist in the sector noted above, with a strong emphasis on understanding companies in this space.
- Mentor research executives and interns, including reviewing the output of junior colleagues and acting as a point of contact on issues such asindustry knowledge, financial research, and general research methodologies.
- The Research Analyst/Associate may be required to cover retail and consumer trends and developments more generally; coverage may evolve to include adjacent or alternative companies or sectors.
- Represent the Coresight team at industry events and conferences.
Qualifications, skills, and experience required:
- A BA/BS in Business, Mathematics, Finance, or other quantitative discipline. MBA or CFA would be an advantage.
