Design&developmentofaSystem Architecturefore-bike systems and 2Wsthroughsupplier&inhouse.
Roles&responsibilities
- Designing the System Architecture for the eBike System
- Define the functional specification and the system requirements specification in close cooperation with Product Management
- Constantly perform benchmark analysis and analyse technology trends in vehicle architectures and in-vehicle networking
- Coordinate development on system level with component level developments
- Define wiring harness in cooperation with internal system engineers of major ebike system components such as driveunit, battery, display etc.
- Define and implement a smart platform approach that enables to serve the different market segments in cooperation with product managers and external customers
- Build the foundation on system level for a software based feature roadmap
- Define test and validation plans in cooperation with test department and suppliers
- Support Make or Buy decisions and support supplier selection in collaboration with internal teams
- Conductingtrainingprogramsforinternalteams

- Excellentunderstanding of eBike system components such as driveunit, battery, charger, HMI, diagnostic tool, connectivity solution etc.
- Design&system built knowledge of CAN, LIN and UART basedcommunication systems
- Good understanding of cables, plugs and wiring harness for in-vehicle communication and power supply
- Excellent understand of functional safety in vehicles (ISO26262)
- Good understanding of cyber security and encryption in cars and standards like ISO21434
- Knowledgeable in wireless communication standards such as BLE, ANT+, 5G and low bandwidth applications
- Good understanding of vehicle diagnostic tools and its architecture
- Experience in connected vehicles and its components such as IoT-modules, APP's, backends etc
- Experience in creating test plans and knowledge of applicable norms
- Excellent knowledge in systems development according to V-model and tools like Doors or Codebeamer
