ExuberantHR Consulting is a topnotch recruitment consultant and currently seeking experienced resources for the Sr. Manager / Manager Purchase role for a leading heavy infrastructure and construction subsidiary company in the iron and steel sector. Due to the confidential nature of the position the clients company name cannot be disclosed.

Job Title: Sr. Manager / Manager Purchase (Male preferred)

Location: Mumbai initially for 2 years then to Job site Ghadchroli District Maharashtra

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma Mechanical / Production / Electrical ( Preferred PGD in Materials Management / General Management)

Experience: 68 Years in case of B.E. / B.Tech or 1012 Years in case of Diploma

Industry Preference: Preferred experience in Infrastructure Construction Iron and Steel Engineering EPC Oil and gas Petrochemicals Cement Mineral Processing Mining Industry and Refineries.

Salary: Rs. 15 20 Lakh per annum

*Travelling to plant locations (Chandrapur & Gadchiroli) may required on a frequent basis. Also this position may get moved to the Gadchiroli plant after 2 years of working in Mumbai.

Required Experience:

• Managing the Capital Purchase process
• Clarity in handling Contractual terms and their implications
• Preferably handled annual volume of 500 Crores in Capital equipment nature
• Understanding of Import Taxation & Excise Logistics processes
• Team leader for 46 members of the Purchase team.
• Reporting Hierarchy General Manager / Divisional Manager

Additional Preferences:

• Worked with Steel Manufacturing / Slurry Pipe Line Projects.
• Technical understanding & experience in Iron Ore processing.
• Knowledge of handling Structural contracts Civil and fabrication.
• Purchase of operational parts & consumables for daytoday maintenance of the process plant.
