Responsibilities
Cloud Strategy and Governance: - Develop and execute the overall cloud strategy, roadmap, and governance framework aligned with the business goals and IT strategy of Adani Group.
- Define and implement cloud policies, standards, and procedures to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient cloud adoption.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in cloud technologies and recommend appropriate strategies to leverage them effectively.
Cloud Architecture And Design - Collaborate with enterprise architects, solution architects, and technology teams to design and implement robust and scalable cloud architectures.
- Define cloud architecture standards, patterns, and best practices to guide the development and deployment of cloud solutions.
- Ensure adherence to architectural principles, security standards, and compliance requirements across cloud platforms.
Cloud Operations And Management - Lead and oversee cloud operations, including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and optimization of cloud resources.
- Develop and implement cloud management practices for ensuring high availability, performance, and cost efficiency of cloud environments.
- Define and establish processes for incident management, capacity planning, and disaster recovery in the cloud.
Cloud Financial Operations (Cloud FinOps)- Establish cloud financial management practices, including budgeting, cost allocation, and optimization of cloud expenses.
- Implement tools and processes for tracking, analyzing, and optimizing cloud costs across different cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to ensure accurate billing, cost transparency, and cost optimization strategies.
Vendor Management And Partnerships - Manage relationships with cloud service providers, ensuring effective vendor selection, negotiation, and performance management.
- Evaluate and onboard new cloud vendors and technologies to drive innovation and meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with procurement and legal teams to negotiate favorable terms, service level agreements (SLAs), and contracts with cloud vendors.
Team Leadership And Collaboration - Build and lead a high-performing Cloud COE team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the Cloud COE team and across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including application development, infrastructure, security, and operations, to ensure successful cloud implementations.
Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with at least 20 Years of experience in Information Technology with a large Organisation with a global scale and footprint.
- Proven experience of 10+ years in cloud technologies, with a focus on cloud strategy, architecture, operations, and financial management.
- Strong expertise in multiple cloud platforms, such as GCP, Azure, AWS, and a deep understanding of cloud-native services and architectures.
- Experience in leading and managing a team, driving cloud initiatives, and managing cloud operations at an enterprise level.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud governance, security, compliance, and cloud financial management (Cloud FinOps) practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., GCP, Azure, AWS) would be advantageous.
