Analyze DB object like Proc , Triggers and suggest/make necessary changes to ensure same functionality and performance in Target Database
Must be expert on DB modeling , optimization, and enhancement.
Good to have : Dataware house experience
Ensure Migration of Oracle/MS SQL database to GCP Cloud SQL PostgreSQL
Migrate all the oracle objects to Cloud SQL PostgreSQL
Ensure the DR, HA, latency & data residency requirement on Cloud
Ensure Data migration with no data loss & in secured way to cloud.
Ensure Data compliance & Sovereignty
Ensure Oracle Exa data migration, talk to Service provided doing Oracle Exa data migration.
Application code refactoring or ORM changes to connect PaaS DB
Update & Modify embedded query in code.
Identify the unsupported feature in PostgreSQL and refactor the code accordingly (Hints, Oracle specific packages etc.)
Verify/compare the database functionalities like Audit logging, Stat collection etc. and create/modify/remove Database batch jobs/scripts accordingly
(1.) To architect, design and develop [through team] solution for product or sustenance delivery. (2.) To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements. (3.) To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology. (4.) To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is an adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and delivery risks are mitigated.
