We are looking for Shipping Managers who want to live and work in Yemen.
About Client : Company is working to restore and expand its activity as an ocean shipping agent, specialized in dry bulk cargo especially grains.
Looking for a shipping manager with excellent experience and excellent network with ship liners, brokers and charters regionally (Middle East) and internationally.
Job Requirements: 1. As a shipping manager for our company, your primarily role objective is to track and connect the company with ship liners, brokers and charters
2. Must ensure that all shipments comply with local regulations including safety and customs requirements
3. Excellent experience in handling Performa Disbursement Account (PDA) and Final
4. Disbursement Account (FDA)
5. Manage all important documents such as advance shipping notice, bill of lading and all documents related to ships and crews and bill of lading
6. Keeping shipping operations within budget without compromising speed or efficiency
7. Supervising and directing shipping employees
8. Documenting processes and reporting to management and other departments as required
9. Evaluating logistics performance and resolving issues
10. Good communication skills to set plans to coordinate and liaise with local importers
Qualifications and Experience: 1. Bachelors' degree in logistics, business administration or a related field
2. Several experience in shipping and logistics
3. Proficiency in using shipping software and other relevant tools
4. Experience in electronic data interchange and preparing shipping documents
5. Excellent organizational and communication skills
6. Attention to details
7. Problem solving abilities
