Job Summary:

Overview of the Role: RPA Channel Manager

The role of the Senior Manager/Manager, Partnership Development is to develop partnerships that further increase GLG’s custom recruiting capabilities and expand our Network Member base to fulfill client research inquiries in India.

Partnerships are a way for GLG to strengthen our expert network by leveraging associations, recruitment firms, and individuals with large followings to help GLG source for hard-to-find experts and SMEs. The partnership workflow is securely operated by utilizing a GLG internal app, where a partner can provide referrals on GLG’s projects for a custom fee.

The candidate’s success will be measured in the amount of new network members brought into the GLG database and their subsequent completed projects. The ideal candidate will need to have an excellent “roll up your sleeves and get it done” attitude, with ability to problem-solve on the spot and move initiatives forward with autonomy from day one.

This is a key role with an exceptional opportunity for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset to drive new initiatives and develop new relationships. This role will work closely with senior leaders in India, as well as across the APAC region and has excellent exposure within the firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive GLG’s partnership efforts in India, by quickly and efficiently identifying and establishing recruiting partnerships with headhunters, industry associations, recruitment firms, platforms or individuals with large professional networks, whom we can leverage to fulfil client requests.
• Grow the GLG Network by recruiting high profile industry experts and key opinion leaders on a strategic/custom mode through partner referrals.
• Consult with Network Development team and client-facing Research Managers to understand clients research workflows and objectives; Gauge client needs and fulfill time-sensitive research requests by analyzing client inquiries and soliciting relevant referrals from external partners.
• Develop a working knowledge of GLG's core industry coverage to improve project and product service quality. Develop awareness of broader industry trends/dynamics relevant to expert recruitment and client servicing.
• Own and manage the recruiting partners onboarded, including but not limited to daily operations, rates setting, activation and retention, data analysis, etc.
• Work on other projects associated with partnerships and building the GLG Network.

Basic Requirements

• 5-10+ years of experience, preferably in business development, headhunting or recruitment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an innate ability to build trust and establish professional relationships.
• A self-starter who is result-driven with a strong work ethic, entrepreneur spirit, drive and tenacity.
• Fast learner with intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn; Able to think creatively and focus on opportunities for growth.
• Strong ability to problem solve, with the ability to derive insights from data and succinctly communicate them in writing.
• Impeccable attention to detail; Methodical and meticulous with an utmost sense of ownership for the initiatives being managed.
• Strong presentation skills and stakeholder management skills.
• Mastery of MS Office Suites (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT).
• Minimum bachelor’s degrees from top-tier colleges or universities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure and understanding of FMCG/EI/Medical/TMT industry highly referred.
• Partnership and contract negotiation experience higher preferred.
• Understanding of product management and technology
