Sakar Robotics is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts & Compliance Manager to join our team. This critical role involves overseeing the financial activities of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in accounting principles and compliance regulations, experienced in managing financial records, tax filings, and audits. As the Accounts & Compliance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the financial health and integrity of Sakar Robotics, supporting our mission to lead the way in robotic innovations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, treasury, budgeting, and revenue and expenditure variance analysis.
  
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and month-end/year-end close processes.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and report variances.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements, staying updated on new legislation and regulations impacting the business.
• Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes.
• Implement and monitor risk management policies and procedures to ensure the companys risks are minimized.
• Advise on financial planning and risk management strategies.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CA, CS, CPA or CMA attempting/pursuing preferred.
  
• Proven experience as an Accounts Manager, Compliance Manager, or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of accounting and finance experience.
  
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  
• Experience with creating financial statements, general ledger functions, and the month-end/year-end close process.
  
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
  
• Knowledge of business law and compliance regulations.
  
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  
• Detail-oriented with an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
