Job description
Job Title: HR Manager.
Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in human resources management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
• Proven experience in leading recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection of candidates.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other relevant software applications.
• Experience working in an educational institution or similar environment is preferred.
Responsibilities :
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the school's mission, vision, and goals.
• Oversee all aspects of human resources management, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations.
• Collaborate with school leadership to establish and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters employee engagement and retention.
• Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions in collaboration with department heads.
• Develop and implement comprehensive orientation and onboarding programs to ensure new employees are integrated smoothly into the school community.
• Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff, identifying training needs and coordinating relevant workshops, seminars, and other learning activities.
• Implement performance management systems and processes, providing guidance and support to supervisors and employees to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.
• Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures, in accordance with school policies and applicable regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and CBSE guidelines, keeping abreast of changes and updates as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to employee personnel files, benefits administration, and other HR-related matters.
• Collaborate with the finance department to manage the school's payroll and benefits administration processes effectively.
