Deal Execution: Will work with the deal team on the following aspects
Support development of investment thesis and investment evaluation process including financial modelling, conducting due diligence, preparing investment memos and presentations
Understanding of issues and risks identified as part of the investment process along with proactive solutioning for mitigants
Support all aspects of transaction execution and closure
Industry / Sector coverage: Proactive coverage industry / sectors of interest with a view towards:
Ability to conduct industry deep dives through understanding the key drivers, business models, investment attractiveness of an industry
Identification of trends and potential investment opportunities to build an active pipeline
Analyze relative positioning of identified investment opportunities vis-Ã -vis market
Regular and periodic updates on the industry
Portfolio monitoring
Regular and periodic monitoring of the portfolio
Analysis of portfolio company data including MIS
Supporting portfolio Board meetings and providing solutions to business problem statements
The Successful Applicant
Strong academic background. MBA from Tier-1 colleges or Chartered Accountant are preferred.
Additional certifications / trainings related to financial analysis / corporate finance / investments is a positive.
3-6 years of work experience in Venture Capital.
