Urgent requirement Junior and Senior Embryologist to join IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) Center in Saudi Arabia
Job Overview: Embryologists will be responsible for the handling, assessment, and manipulation of gametes (sperm and eggs) and embryos, with the goal of facilitating successful conception, pregnancy, and healthy births. They work closely with clinical and laboratory staff, patients, and may be involved in research activities related to embryology. Key Responsibilities: Assisted Reproduction Procedures: Perform procedures such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), and intrauterine insemination (IUI) to assist couples in achieving pregnancy. Oocyte Retrieval and Sperm Processing: Collect, prepare, and assess eggs and sperm for fertilization and embryo development. Embryo Culture and Assessment: Monitor and evaluate the growth and quality of embryos during their time in the laboratory. Select the best embryos for transfer or cryopreservation. Cryopreservation: Manage the process of freezing and storing embryos, oocytes, and sperm for future use. Pre-implantation Genetic Testing (PGT): Perform and coordinate genetic testing on embryos to screen for genetic abnormalities and assist in family planning. Quality Control: Maintain strict quality control measures to ensure the safety and integrity of reproductive materials. Research: Engage in embryology research projects, contributing to advancements in reproductive medicine, genetics, and fertility treatments. Patient Education: Educate patients about their treatment options, procedures, and expected outcomes, as well as providing emotional support. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed records of procedures, outcomes, and laboratory activities to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Laboratory Safety: Adhere to safety protocols, maintain equipment, and ensure a clean and sterile laboratory environment.
