Business Development Manager

Job Description for Business Development Manager (Commercial Real Estate):

Position: Business Development Manager

Experience: 3-5 years in a similar role

Responsibilities:

i. Systematically identify and evaluate commercial properties for leasing, purchase, and sale, demonstrating a keen understanding of market dynamics.

ii. Identify and assess lucrative opportunities for land deals, specifically focusing on industrial and warehouse properties.

iii. Conduct thorough scouting and due diligence to identify prime commercial real estate opportunities for leasing, purchase, and sale, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of market trends and potential.

iv. Develop and meticulously maintain a comprehensive inventory of diverse commercial properties, including high-value assets such as hotels and hospitals.

v. Orchestrating sales growth through the implementation of diverse and effective marketing initiatives.

vi. Formulate and execute strategic plans for the optimal sale of all properties, aligning with market trends and organizational objectives.

vii. Deliver compelling and articulate sales presentations to key decision-makers, highlighting the unique capabilities and service offerings of our properties.

viii. Strategically cultivate and expand a robust investor database through effective collaboration with channel partners.

ix. Oversee extensive client relation exercises, actively managing and nurturing relationships to foster repeat business.

x. Facilitate seamless deals between the organization and clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

xi. Cultivate and strengthen networks to ensure a continuous flow of business leads and opportunities.

xii. Stay abreast of the ever-evolving commercial real estate market, continuously gathering intelligence to inform strategic decision-making.

xiii. Provide strategic direction and leadership to channel partners, ensuring the attainment of set sales targets.

xiv. Deliver comprehensive weekly reports to the corporate office, providing valuable insights into market trends and organizational performance.

xv. Ensure daily updates on key developments and opportunities, maintaining a proactive approach to business growth.

xvi. Efficiently update and manage information within the company's SaaS portal, ensuring accuracy and relevance to properties and other pertinent data.

Qualifications and Skills:

a. Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field.

b. Proven experience of 3-5 years in a similar role within the commercial real estate sector.

c. Strong understanding of commercial property transactions and market dynamics.

d. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

e. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, channel partners, and key stakeholders.

f. Proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities.

g. Familiarity with using SaaS tools for data management and reporting will be added advantage.

Executive – Business Development

i. Build and maintain an inventory list of all types of commercial properties, including large-scale deals.

ii. Conduct thorough scouting and due diligence to identify prime commercial real estate opportunities for leasing, purchase, and sale, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of market trends and potential.

iii. Drive sales through various marketing initiatives.

iv. Make effective sales presentations to key decision-makers, showcasing the capabilities and service offerings of the properties.

v. Manage extensive client relation exercises.

vi. Liaison deals between the organization and clients.

vii. Cultivate networks to ensure consistent business leads and repeat business.

viii. Stay constantly updated with the commercial real estate market.

ix. Gather market intelligence to inform strategic decision-making.

x. Provide daily/weekly reports to the corporate office.

xi. Ensure daily updates on key developments and opportunities.

xii. Update information into the company's SaaS portal related to properties and other relevant data.
