SALARY RANGE : INR 30,000 - INR 45,000
A DAY IN A LIFE
As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:
- Conduct reconciliation of revenue reports.
- Manage day-to-day financial operations for revenue reconciliations.
- Prepare customer billing for other revenue.
- Collaborate with operation team to identify offloaded shipments.
- Work with shared services on billing tasks.
- Validate and investigate report discrepancies with Agents.
- Prepare monthly finance reconciliation reports.
- Maintain organized records of invoices and supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with finance team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes or system reports.
Requirements
- Strong financial knowledge and technical fluency.
- Ability to work independently and thrive under pressure.
- Is a speedster and fast thinker – able to solve problems on-the-go and adapt quickly
- Has/pursuing a degree in Accounting / Finance or Professional Accountancy Qualification (eg: ACCA/CPA Australia/MICPA, ICAEW)
- Fluency in English and at least another local language is a plus.
- A team player, willing to multitask where additional help is required and communicate well with the team members.
- High attention to detail, without losing sight of the big picture.
- Passionate about your work and a desire to have a big impact.
- Excitement for how digitalization is changing the financial industry.
- Enthusiasm for Teleport and what we are doing.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, and Slides), and other useful financial software is a plus.
