Job description

Marketing & PR Coordinator

The PR and Marketing Coordinator will spearhead public relations and marketing activities across all schools and campuses of NMIMS University. You will build integrated communications strategies and campaigns to enhance the university's brand recognition and reputation. The role requires excellent communication skills, media relationships, project coordination, and marketing insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute the annual PR strategy and content calendar.
  2. Write, edit, and distribute press releases highlighting university announcements, achievements, programs, rankings, events, etc.
  3. Serve as media point of contact and build relationships with top publishers, journalists, and influencers across regions.
  4. Oversee creative agencies for university print materials like brochures, flyers, standees, posters, and event signages.
  5. Work with the HR team and Dean/Directors on releases and campaigns for teaching and non-teaching job postings.
  6. Collaborate with Deans/Directors/Programme Chairs across schools and campuses for PR opportunities.
  7. Track media coverage, analyze campaign performance, and draft reports and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or a relevant field
  2. PR and marketing experience of 2 to 3 years, preferably in higher education or a leading agency.
  3. Excellent writing and editing skills with an engaging storytelling style.
  4. Strong project management abilities and attention to detail.
  5. Resourceful self-starter who can work independently and also collaboratively.
  6. Savvy relationship-builder with media and stakeholders.
  7. Analytical mindset to evaluate campaigns and provide strategic recommendations.
