Job description

Qualification Required: Masters in zoology, Environmental Science, Biology, Forestry Management

Experience Required: 0-2 years

Broad Responsibilities

§ Shall be responsible for compilation and analysis of data and timely filling of field and technical reports in consultation with the Head

§ Assist the Head in preparing proposals, grant reports as and when requested

§ Assist the Head/PI is managing the Emergency Relief Network (ERN) and respond to incidences of natural/man-made disasters affecting animals

§ Should be willing to project sites for monitoring and key activities and also as ERN responder during natural disasters

§ Assist the Head/PI in preparing Project Implementation Plans (PIP’s) and ensuring mid-term corrections are incorporated

§ Compile, quarterly, half yearly and annual project reviews along with the Head

§ Entering data related to rescue and rehabilitation activities undertaken by the respective units in the project areas

§ Assisting the Head/PI in programmatic activities like correspondences, filing, procurement of assets, medicines, equipment, etc.

§ Visit field stations and project sites as instructed by PI/Head for project monitoring work

§ Plan and conduct strategic meetings for planning, monitoring and evaluation of projects in discussion with PI/Head

§ Additional responsibilities will be as mentioned in the individual targets as issued by PI/Head

§ Preference will be given to veterinarians with relevant programmatic experience and individuals having worked in animal welfare and conservation-based fields.

§ The candidate should have a good communication skill (especially writing both technical and creative)
