We are seeking a talented QA automation engineer to design testing procedures for our VideoSDK . In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications and designing automated tests to validate their performance. You will also be required to identify bugs, test edge cases and collaborate with the engineering team.
Responsibilities: 1. Manual Testing: -Conduct thorough manual testing of VideoSDK features and functionalities across web and mobile platforms to ensure quality and identify defects. -Design and execute test cases covering UI/UX, compatibility, performance, security, and other relevant aspects. -Report and document identified issues clearly and concisely, including steps to reproduce.
2. Collaboration and Communication: - Work closely with developers to reproduce and debug issues, providing valuable insights and suggestions for improvement.
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders (managers, designers, product owners) on testing progress, challenges, and recommendations. - Participate in design and code reviews, proactively providing testing considerations and potential risks.
3. Automation: - Learn and actively contribute to developing and maintaining automated test scripts using tools like Puppeteer, Selenium, or other relevant frameworks. - Continuously improve testing efficiency and coverage through automation.
4. Learning and Growth: - Remain passionate about software testing and stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and testing methodologies. - Take initiative to learn new technologies and tools relevant to VideoSDK and QA practices. - Contribute to the teams testing knowledge base and share best practices with colleagues.
Required Skills:
Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies (black-box, white-box, manual, automation).
Hands-on experience with manual testing of web and mobile applications.
Basic knowledge of Node.js, REST APIs, Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
Exposure to testing tools and frameworks like Puppeteer, Selenium, or similar options (a plus).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills (written and verbal).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly.
Passion for quality and a keen eye for detail.
Desired Skills:
Experience with load testing or stress testing tools and techniques.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience with API testing tools.
Experience in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
