About the job
As an SDE-2 Backend Engineer at BarRaiser, you'll be part of a dynamic and fast-paced team responsible for building and maintaining the backend systems that power our platform. You'll work closely with other engineers, product managers, and designers to develop new features and improve existing functionality. Key Responsibilities: ● Design and implement efficient, scalable, and maintainable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. ● Write clean, testable, and readable code. ● Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features on time. ● Participate in code reviews and contribute to our engineering best practices. ● Troubleshoot and debug issues, and work to improve our monitoring and logging systems. Minimum Qualifications: ● 2+ years of professional experience with Java and Spring Boot. ● Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, such as data structures and algorithms. ● Experience with building and deploying microservices. ● Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services. ● Strong knowledge of SQL and database design. ● Ability to write unit tests and integration tests. ● Experience with Git. ● Strong problem-solving and communication skills. ● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: ● Experience with cloud services such as AWS or GCP ● Experience with NoSQL databases ● Experience with agile development methodologies ● Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)Job tags
