Job description
1. Responsible for timely remittance, reimbursement and reporting of Government collections and Payments acting as Agency Bank Function to Reserve Bank of India. 2. Responsible for managing, controlling and monitoring of day-to-day operations of Government Business (Agency and Non-Agency). 3. Responsible for control checks for operational and financial risks involved in the day-to-day operations. 4. Responsible for daily settlement, accounting and Reconciliation of Accounts undertaken by Government Business Operations. 5. Responsible for ensuring submission of Agency Turnover Commission Claims on behalf of the Bank to the Reserve Bank of India and onward distribution to various sourcing branches. 6. Responsible for liasioing and coordination with RBI and various regulators in forums related to Standing Advisory Committee /Quarterly/ Half Yearly Meetings related to Government Business Operations and other related matters. 7. Responsible for the Inspection audit related to Link Cell and Government Business Operations conducted by the Reserve Bank of India and various regulators. 8. Responsible for monitoring, responding and corrective actions for audit observations by various audits conducted by RBI, Regulator, Internal Bank and Concurrent Audits related to Government Business Operations. 9. Responsible for implementation and development of Processes along with various stakeholders. 10. Responsible for adherence for complying compliance norms, guidelines and regulations related to Government Business Operations prescribed by RBI and various regulators. 11. Responsible for comprehensive MIS to be put up to Senior Management on frequent intervals related to Government Business Operations and MIS as and when required to Internal / External stakeholders. 12. Responsible for assisting Customer Branch Support and Services related to Government Business Operations. 13. Responsible for identifying the risks and controls related to the processes under Government Business Operations
