Job description
The primary objective of a Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of a project, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments and goals of the organization.
Key Responsibilities - Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders, and ensuring that the project is aligned with the organization's strategy and goals.
- Managing project scope, schedule and budget to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinating and managing the efforts of cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and network engineering, to deliver the project on time and within budget.
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders, including project sponsors, project team members, and other stakeholders, to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.
- Identifying and mitigating project risks to ensure the successful completion of the project.
- Managing and controlling project change requests to ensure that the project stays on schedule and within budget.
- Managing project deliverables to ensure that they meet the quality standards of the organization.
- Managing project closure activities, including the preparation of final project reports and closeout documents.
- Continuously monitoring and reporting on project progress to ensure that the project is on track to meet its objectives.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communicating with external vendors and partners to ensure timely delivery of hardware and software components.
