Job description

• Work on the latest VMware, EMC Products, CISCO Unified Computing System(UCS) platforms
• Specialization on RHEL and Microsoft Operating systems
• Support in the Public (AWS), Private Cloud, and Content Delivery Networks (CDNs)
• Maintain a cross country DR solution (On-prem and Public Cloud)
• Support industry leading Commvault Enterprise backup solution
• Operate in FedRAMP Moderate Authorized environments and enforce related controls

SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 to 7 years experience in the areas listed below
• VMware: VSphere 6.x 7.0
• VMWare SRM (Site Recovery Manager)
• VMware PowerCLI scripting
• VMware vRealize
• Cisco UCS (Unified Computer System)
• Cisco B200 Server Family
• Cisco 6200, 6300, 6400 Series Fabric Interconnects
• Experience with enterprise backup solutions
• Windows operating systems (Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022)
• Linux operating systems (RHEL/Amazon Linux)
• Administer Active Directory and DNS
• Experience maintaining virus scan solutions such as Symantec Endpoint Protection
• Administration of SAML/SSO platforms
• Troubleshooting of CDN issues
• Perform daily checks and maintenance activities
• Install and verify security patches
• Work collaboratively with other teams to diagnose/resolve performance/stability issues
• Document issues and resolution
• Planning and execution of upgrade activities for operation systems and underlying infrastructure components
• Post-secondary education in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, analytical , and listening skills
• Professional manner with strong interpersonal skills; a team player and a relationship builder
• Self-directed work habits, applied with creativity, resourcefulness, and a sense of personal responsibility
• Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly and concisely, orally and in writing
• Ability to think strategically and plan for innovation/change; flexibility/adaptability
• Interest in acquiring related industry certifications
• The following additional skills are considered assets:
• Experience with AWS services, EC2, RDS, EKS, S3, EFS, EBS
• Experience upgrading administrative containers
• VMware, CISCO, EMC, AWS, RHEL, Microsoft certifications
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
