Trident Dispatch is seeking a Purchase Executive to join our team. As a Purchase Executive, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchase of goods and services.
Qualifications and Skills
- Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of purchase management principles and practices
- Experience in negotiating with suppliers and managing contracts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret data
- Proficiency in using purchasing software and tools
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and contracting with suppliers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure accuracy of pricing and specifications
- Review and analyze supplier performance to optimize supplier base
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support with purchasing needs
- Manage inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels
- Handle cash management related to purchasing activities
- Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities
