As a senior member of the global team, you will support the Global Program Manager with the management of overall business outcomes including value for money and procurement obligations under the contract.

Main responsibilities of this position will include:

• International Strategic Initiatives Ownership & Development: Own, create and execute plans to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the international supply chain network. This involves analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategic changes to streamline operations. This includes designing sourcing strategies, managing risks, and ensuring smooth onboarding of suppliers to enhance overall performance.
• Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation plans to address them. This involves assessing various factors such as geopolitical instability, natural disasters, and market fluctuations, and establishing contingency measures to ensure business continuity despite disruptions.
• Supplier Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to establish clear terms and conditions regarding pricing, payment terms, and contractual obligations. This ensures transparency and alignment of expectations, minimizing the potential for disputes or misunderstandings.
• Partnering with Tier 1/2 subcontractors to ensure services align with contractual requirements and implement global standards for Tier 3 supplier compliance and maintenance.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to ensure contractual compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies. Work with stakeholders to maintain compliance with quality processes and standards.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and business design.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Strong track record in managing strategic international supply chain and logistic frameworks.
• Global customer centric focus with strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships, mentor team members, and drive high performance outcomes in diverse international environments, while also bringing a global perspective to local markets.
• Excellent nuanced communication skills with business level fluency in English and Arabic (written and oral).

• Strong awareness of the local and regional environment and customer demographic with a desire to facilitate communication and understanding.
• Commitment to meeting contractual requirements, including monitoring key performance indicators. Must be a strategic thinker with a solutions-focused approach, capable of problem-solving situations at short notice.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally within your region. Must hold a national passport and driving license.
